I think I'm losing it
Going through the blog of a fachcha. Found an article titled “When did I lose it”……Do not prejudice before reading the following lines (To be fair to him, what comes next is none of his mistake)
when you want to fly
when did you last smell
the smell of the rain
and lie on the grass"
But that is not the point I am trying to get at. This blog actually got me thinking. That’s one big feat, considering the exams are going on. Allergic to grass and rain that I am, my thoughts diverted to another topic, the infinitely more interesting one. The one they refer to in the ad....WHEN DID YOU LOSE IT? (Calling all KGPian males, recall LAN)
The other day during Extempore in SF, Gods (read organizers) bestowed on yours truly the HOLY deliverence of speech on Virginity. I still wonder.....
What is Virginity? I shall refrain from blogging the dictionary meaning, children like the fachcha might get hysterical. But what I search for is the inner meaning, I mean, what is it, the hype, the euphoria(SF Rocks) and all.
If you lose it, where does it go? If two people lose it at the same time, do they exchange it? If they do, then they still have Virginity, right? Or is it not the same as having one’s own personal version?
Whose concept was it anyways? Did the Almighty send each one of us with this apple, that we have to eat someday? Or is it the Cherry, as some like to call it (Again, WHY??) Thinking again, have you heard this before:
“An apple a day keeps the doctor away”.
So much for the fruits, I swear I won't touch them again. Feeling Sick, am responsible for it.
I quit thinking before it gets any murkier.
PS : Saw this movie Love Actually (is Everywhere). Keira Knightley, Hugh Grant, Martine McCutcheon and everybody else absolutely rock. Makes you want to believe in love. And its sweetness. Not that I need to be reminded ;-)

*coughs*
*coughs again*
damn the title wasn't exactly meant to be what you've brought of it to be. but since we are on the topic, he who said that virginity is not dignity but the loss of opportunity must not have had a gilfriend.
and here's the fun fact of the day:
i am allergic to many things, apart from polens(grass) and too much water, cockroaches, mosquitos, even mango seem to get me.
*damn this cough*
@whoami
i am losing the sanilty of my mind for crying out loud......Shit happens
@addo
thanx for the info dude, but didn't you like my article?
pls forgive me fer the unneccassary funda if u already know this but jus in case u dont .... virginity , the concept seems to have been originated from the catholic idea of sex as sin ....n therefore "virgin mary",the word root
@Zack
whoever told you that?!!! you made it up or have it from a verifiable source?
because the word virgin and hence virginity seems to have evolved from the Latin word for 'maiden, unwedded girl or woman'
check these sites for reference and have some fun while reading
